THE NAME THAT BLEEDS
From tribal chief to universal ruler
The steppe is no longer a refuge. It is a field of judgment.
Between 1189 and 1206, Temüjin ceased to be an emerging leader to become the force that would break the ancient order of the Mongol tribes.
But power is not born clean.
After the defeat of the Tatars, the alliances with Toghrul and the civil war against Jamukha, the steppe is divided between two worldviews: the inherited nobility… or the merit conquered.
As blood defines borders, a rumor begins to grow:
Temüjin carries something that shouldn’t exist. A metal without origin. A cold object that he touches before deciding.
His enemies want to destroy him. His allies are beginning to fear him.
